A budding mathematician??

This morning while I was preparing lunch, Shaayla gave me a shock.

She was rattling of "one plus one equals two, two plus three equals five, 2 plus two equals four....am I right, Mummy?" I was like, so shocked. But I managed a "Yes, you're right, Shaayla". Spatula in hand, I hurried over to where she was coloring, eager to find out if this daughter of ours was a budding mathematician. But discovered that she was reading the numbers straight off her Curious George coloring book "1+1=2, 2+3=5,2+2=4" !!

For a moment there, I was almost speechless. But at least we know that she knows the "+" and "=" signs.
